Paint is 20% of the job
Anyone can roll color on a wall. The other 80% — patching, sanding, caulking, priming, cutting clean lines — is what separates a paint job that looks good for eight years from one that looks tired in two. We do the 80%.
What we paint
Walls and ceilings
Full rooms, whole houses, single accent walls. Holes patched, seams smoothed, roller texture even — the wall gets fixed before it gets painted, not hidden under paint.
Trim, doors, and millwork
The detail work: baseboards, crown, casings, doors. Sanded, caulked, and finished with trim paint that levels smooth. Trim is where brush marks show — we use the right products and the right technique.
Cabinets
Cabinet refinishing is a specialty: degreased, sanded, primed with bonding primer, sprayed or brushed with cabinet-grade enamel. A proper cabinet paint job looks factory — a rushed one chips in a year. We do the proper one.
Our prep sequence
Protect: floors covered, furniture moved or wrapped, fixtures masked.
Repair: holes filled, cracks addressed, failed caulk replaced.
Sand: patches feathered, glossy surfaces deglossed for adhesion.
Prime: where the surface needs it — stains, patches, bare wood, color changes.
Paint: quality paint, proper coverage, cut lines sharp.
Inspect: we walk it with good light before we call it done.
Color help
We are not interior designers, but we have painted enough rooms to know what works in Southern Maryland light — which whites go yellow, which grays go blue, how sheen affects a small room. We will give you an honest opinion if you want one.
